10 More Women-Owned Small Businesses Worth Your Full Attention

Ten more female founders I’d happily spend my money with

I’m just going to say it. Where you spend your money says a lot about what you want more of in the world, and I want more women building smart, beautiful, wildly specific businesses that make life more fun, more useful, and a little less boring.

Because here’s what keeps getting me. So many women-owned small businesses are built in the middle of everything else. Jobs. Kids. Caregiving. Burnout. Laundry. Probably a cold coffee sitting somewhere nearby. And somehow these founders still make room for taste, ideas, experimentation, and actual follow-through. That deserves attention.

Also, small business shopping is just better when the products have a pulse. I don’t want ten beige versions of the same thing from a giant machine with a marketing budget. I want the version that came out of somebody’s real brain. The one with personality. The one that solves a problem a little better or looks a little cooler or makes me laugh because somebody clearly cared enough to make it interesting.

So yes, support women-owned businesses. Shop small. Buy the thing you keep opening in another tab like you’re not already emotionally attached to it. These next 10 female founders are making some of my favourite things on the internet right now, and honestly, they deserve the spotlight.

Let’s get into Part 2.

Lovedstoned Jewelery

Tayla Holman lovestonedjewelry.com

Lovedstoned Jewelery feels like it was made by someone who knows jewellery can do a little more than sit there looking pretty. Tayla Holman has built a brand around meaning, intention, and emotional weight, but thankfully it never tips into being so serious you feel like you need to sage your mailbox before opening the package.

That balance is what got me. The pieces still feel wearable. They still feel like something you’d actually reach for. But there’s a little more soul in them, which makes the whole brand feel less like accessory shopping and more like choosing a tiny, sparkly emotional support object. I mean that lovingly.

Beyond the Break Bracelet

The Beyond the Break Bracelet stopped me because it knows exactly what it’s trying to say. With charoite and pietersite at the centre, it’s framed around transformation, clarity, and the weird kind of strength that shows up after life has cracked something open. I love jewellery that feels emotionally specific, and this one absolutely does. It’s the kind of piece I’d buy for myself in a hard season, or tuck into a gift box for a friend who needs a quiet reminder that rebuilding still counts as becoming.

Sunday Sparks

Sophia Sparks sundaysparks.com

Sunday Sparks understands something a shocking number of fashion brands still don’t. Most women aren’t getting dressed for one dramatic entrance. We’re getting dressed for real life. For work. For errands. For grabbing coffee. For pretending we’re just popping out quickly and somehow still being out for four hours.

Sophia Sparks has built a brand around pieces that actually fit into that reality. The clothes feel relaxed without feeling lazy, polished without looking stiff, and useful in the way the best wardrobe staples always are. You can tell the brand was built by someone who knows what gets worn on repeat and what just sits in a closet gathering resentment.

Heather Grey Sweatshirt

A really good grey sweatshirt is one of life’s quiet luxuries, and this one looks like the kind you accidentally build half your wardrobe around. It’s a relaxed cotton blend pullover that works for chilly mornings, errands, travel days, and all the other moments when you want comfort without looking like you’ve completely given up. I like that it’s simple, but not flat. It feels like the piece you wear once and then keep reaching for until somebody in your house starts recognizing it by name.

Dear Naura

Karen Mok dearnaura.com

Dear Naura has the kind of calm confidence I always notice in a skincare brand. Karen Mok has built it around gentle, small-batch formulas that feel thoughtful instead of overwhelming, which matters because so much skincare still acts like your face should be a full-time project with a spreadsheet.

Here, the approach is cleaner and kinder. The focus is on skin that feels supported, not punished into behaving. I appreciate that a lot. Not every routine needs a ten-step intervention and a sermon. Sometimes you just want something well made that quietly does its job and lets you get on with your life.

Water Based Ceramide Face Cream by Dear Naura, a lightweight moisturizer with ceramides and hyaluronic acid for soft hydrated skin
Water Based Ceramide Face Cream · Dear Naura

Featured Product

Water Based Ceramide Face Cream

A moisturizer that hydrates properly without sitting on the skin like a film is worth its weight in gold. Dear Naura’s Water Based Ceramide Face Cream is designed to support the skin barrier, soften the skin, and absorb quickly without that heavy, greasy finish that can make you regret everything two minutes later. I can immediately see the appeal for oily or acne-prone skin, especially when so many creams seem to swing between too much and not enough. This one feels like the answer to a very real, very annoying problem.

Year After Year

Dana Longland yearafteryear.ca

Year After Year was clearly built by someone who understands how quickly children outgrow absolutely everything. Dana Longland designs handmade bamboo and cotton kids’ clothing in Canada with intentionally oversized fits, so the pieces last longer and work harder than standard sizing usually allows. It’s a smart answer to a problem parents deal with constantly, and I love a business that starts with a genuine irritation and then actually fixes it.

There’s care in that idea, but also intelligence. The brand is sustainable, yes, but not in the empty buzzword way. It’s sustainable because it’s useful. Because the clothes are meant to stay in rotation longer than five minutes and a growth spurt. Revolutionary, honestly.

Butter Noodles Oversized Bamboo Sweatshirt

I’m sorry, but Butter Noodles is such a good product name that I was already halfway sold before I read a single detail. The sweatshirt itself earns the attention. It’s soft, breathable, and made in an oversized bamboo blend fit that’s designed for longer wear, which means it isn’t just cute, it’s genuinely practical. That’s exactly what I want from a children’s brand. Something charming enough to gift and smart enough to make me feel weirdly smug about finding it.

Flirty Pineapple

Madison Riddolls flirtypineapple.com

Flirty Pineapple has the kind of cheerful polish that makes you want to hang around longer than you meant to. Madison Riddolls has built a brand around hair accessories that are playful, giftable, and actually useful, which is not as easy a combination as it sounds. There’s a lightness to the shop, but it’s backed by real thought. Nothing feels thrown in just to make the page look busier.

I always notice when a founder takes something small and everyday, then makes it feel a little more special without turning it into a whole dramatic event. That’s exactly what’s happening here.

Featured Product

Satin Scrunchie

A satin scrunchie can seem like a tiny thing until you get one that’s actually soft, pretty, and comfortable enough to wear all day. This one comes in a long list of colours and multiple sizes, which I love because hair accessories should work with your actual life, not just one very specific ponytail. It also makes such an easy gift from a women-owned small business, especially if you want something useful that still feels a bit lovely. Those are usually the best kinds of gifts anyway.

Shade Tree Naturals

Tara Scheel shadetreenaturals.com

Shade Tree Naturals feels like the kind of body care brand that was made by someone who genuinely understands ritual. Tara Scheel’s products lean handmade, botanical, and comforting, but they never feel precious or impractical. That’s the trick. They still belong in real bathrooms, in real routines, with real people who want their skin to feel good and maybe smell excellent while they’re at it.

I’m always drawn to brands that can make everyday care feel more grounded without turning it into performance art. Shade Tree Naturals does that beautifully.

Lemongrass Ginger Sugar Scrub by Shade Tree Naturals, a handmade emulsified sugar scrub with organic sugar herbs and nourishing oils
Lemongrass Ginger Sugar Scrub · Shade Tree Naturals

Featured Product

Lemongrass Ginger Sugar Scrub

This sounds like the kind of shower product that can rescue a tired mood in under five minutes. It’s made with organic sugar, herbs, and skin-loving oils, so you get exfoliation and moisture in the same step, which I always appreciate because body care shouldn’t feel like a group project. The scent pairing is especially good. Lemongrass and ginger is bright, clean, and just sharp enough to wake you up a little. It’s the kind of small upgrade that makes an ordinary routine feel less ordinary.

Apothecuryous

Tatiana Lynn Boland apothecuryous.com

Apothecuryous has a strong point of view, and I mean that in a good way. Tatiana Lynn Boland has built a brand that feels rooted in plant-based care, but it’s also thoughtful about texture, scent, and the emotional side of using something on your skin every day. The products feel personal. Like somebody actually thought about how they’d live in a routine instead of just how they’d photograph on a shelf.

That’s what gives the brand its pull. It feels sensory and grounded at the same time, which is a surprisingly rare combination.

Featured Product

Seeds the Day Multi-Vitamin Moisturizing Lotion

This is exactly the kind of product name I remember. Seeds the Day is made with seed oils and a mango butter base, and it’s designed to deeply nourish dry skin while still feeling suitable for everyday use. I especially like that it seems to bridge function and pleasure without trying too hard. That’s what separates a nice lotion from one you actually look forward to using, and I care about that difference more than I probably should.

Jenna Bricher

Jenna Bee jennabricher.com

Jenna Bricher is doing something I wish more fashion brands would do. She’s designing specifically for fuller busts instead of pretending one generic fit can somehow work for everyone. That alone gets my attention. Add in eco-friendly materials and a clear sense of style, and suddenly this becomes one of those women-owned businesses I want more people to know about.

There’s real care in building a brand around a fit problem that so many women have been told to quietly work around on their own. It makes the whole label feel purposeful from the ground up, which I always appreciate.

Arah Bikini Top

This is the kind of swimwear description that immediately tells me a founder understands the problem she’s solving. The Arah Bikini Top has a plunging neckline, adjustable straps, a lace-up back, double layers of fabric, and an under-bust band for support. In other words, it’s aiming for sexy and secure at the same time, which is exactly the sweet spot so many women have been hunting for forever. I can absolutely see why this would become a favourite thing for somebody who’s spent years dreading swimsuit shopping.

Willow Field Soap

Terri Allen Knudsen willowfieldsoap.com

There’s something about a beautifully scented handmade soap that never stops feeling indulgent to me. Willow Field Soap leans all the way into that pleasure, and I mean that as a compliment. Terri Allen Knudsen has built a brand that turns an everyday necessity into a little pocket of atmosphere, which is one of my favourite forms of small-business magic.

It’s easy to underestimate products like this because they live in the everyday. But that’s exactly why they matter. They touch your routine constantly, and when they’re made with care, you feel it every single time you use them. Also, if a soap can make me feel vaguely elegant while standing in my own bathroom, I’m listening.

Dreams Soap

Dreams Soap sounds downright delicious. The scent profile layers bubbly champagne, nectarine, citrus, vanilla, and musk, which is honestly enough to make me click before I even know what the bar looks like. I love products that make the ordinary feel slightly cinematic, and this one absolutely does. For gifts from women-owned businesses, this is such an easy yes because it feels luxurious without becoming fussy or unreachable.

b.e.happe Designs

Brooke Happe behappedesigns.com

b.e.happe Designs closes this list on exactly the right note. It’s handmade, cheerful, and full of personality, but there’s heart behind it too. Brooke Happe has built a brand that gives winter accessories real charm and a real sense of purpose, which is probably why the pieces feel so easy to root for.

I always notice when a founder manages to make something playful without making it feel disposable. There’s warmth in these designs, but also staying power. That’s what makes the brand memorable. It feels happy without trying too hard, which, frankly, is a useful life skill.

Women's Slouch Hat Marble Slouchy Beanie

I’m a sucker for a winter accessory with a little bit of playfulness, and this one has it. The marble slouchy beanie is hand-knit in a wool blend with a relaxed fit and just enough detail to make it feel distinctive without tipping into costume. It’s cozy, it’s charming, and it looks like the sort of hat people stop you to compliment. That’s always a very good sign.

Ten More Founders, Ten More Reasons to Shop Small

Put Your Money Where Your Values Already Are

That’s the thing I keep coming back to. When you support women-owned businesses, you’re not making some abstract statement from a tote bag. You’re choosing real products from real female founders who took an idea seriously enough to build a whole world around it.

And that choice adds up. It helps women-owned small businesses grow, get seen, get shared, and keep going. So if one of these pieces caught your eye, shop small and follow through. Order it. Send this post to a friend. Text somebody the link with no explanation and let them fall into it the way I did.

Then come back and leave a comment telling me which business you’re shopping first. I really want to know.
